Financial Business Development Manager

A client of ours in Metairie is seeking a Financial Business Development Manager!

This company works with national and international clients.

Summary: The Financial Business Development Manager will be responsible for building the company's market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships successfully.

Job Responsibilities of the Financial Business Development Manager:

• Research prospects and conduct daily cold and warm sales calls

• Build and manage prospect relationships using a customer relationship management system

• Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments

• Close new clients

• Locate or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities

• Update job knowledge by participating in reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Job Requirements of the Financial Business Development Manager:

• Prior business to business sales selling an intangible or complex product offering

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or similar field required with a financial background OR Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or similiar field required with a background in business development and sales

• Eager and willing to make cold calls

• Background in financial advising preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay will be based on experience: $50,000 - $60,000 base salary, plus commission & bonuses!

• The position has 100k plus potential
